Prelude to Ecstasy is a cinematic masterpiece that blends music, mystery, and visual artistry into a spellbinding narrative. Composed of four music videos, 'The Feminine Urge', 'Gjuha', 'Sinner', and 'Burn Alive', the film is a nod to the classic Italian Giallo horror genre, paying homage to iconic flicks like Suspiria and Profondo Rosso.

In their third collaboration, Harv once again thrusts the band members into centre stage, not just as musicians, but as actors embodying the roles of students in an elite yet foreboding dance academy. This prestigious institution, whilst seemingly glamorous and alluring, conceals a darker side beneath its polished surface.

Serving as a metaphor for the band’s own experience in the often enigmatic and challenging music industry, the film explores themes of ambition, creativity, and the intoxicating grip of success. The dancers, much like the band, find themselves caught in a whirlwind of artistic freedom, where the thrill of potential and the weight of expectation blur the lines between liberation and entrapment. As the students immerse themselves in the seductive atmosphere of the academy, they begin to unravel the sinister magic that lurks within its walls - a force capable of granting them unimaginable power, but at a perilous cost.

Visually stunning and richly atmospheric, Harv plunges viewers into the decadent world of The Last Dinner Party, offering a unique fusion of music and storytelling that leaves audiences both enchanted and unsettled. The film’s aesthetic, steeped in vibrant colours, striking choreography, and eerie symbolism, pays tribute to the vivid, dreamlike visuals of Giallo cinema while forging a fresh, contemporary path that reflects the band’s unique artistic identity. Harv herself describes the film as “a swirling, intoxicating journey into the surreal and darkly beautiful universe of The Last Dinner Party.

Prelude to Ecstasy is a must-watch experience for fans of The Last Dinner Party and anyone who appreciates music, cinema, and the supernatural.
