Bio
Ricky was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland. He found an affinity with music videos, spending his youth glued to MTV. He attended art school in Aberdeen and after graduating, immersed himself in filming live music.
He moved to London and was immediately thrown in at the deep end, shooting content and live shows with Drake, Dave, Kojey Radical, Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, Post Malone, Tory Lanez, Vince Staples, Ghetts, Giggs, Public Enemy, Run The Jewels, the list goes on.
Since then Ricky has moved on to directing music videos for an array of new and inspiring artists; Murkage Dave, Miles From Kinshasa, Skaiwater, Duvall, Lancey Faux and kadiata to name a few.
Whilst heavily revolving around darkly humorous narratives, Ricky’s work shines an absurd yet delicate light on the often fascinating and intricate ways we as humans long for connection, purpose, love, and to feel seen.
