Lu is an award-winning British-Taiwanese filmmaker renowned for her compelling storytelling and visually striking work. Based in London, her films often explore themes of identity, social issues, and youth culture, beautifully intertwining elements of East Asian and British culture.
Lu's portfolio boasts collaborations with high-profile clients such as Nike, Meta, Bumble, Lego, Samsung, P&G, Depop, Estée Lauder, Audible, and others. Her short films have garnered international acclaim, receiving the Best Sound Award at the New York City Independent Film Festival and featuring at prestigious events including the BAFTA-qualifying London Short Film Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival, Chicago's Blow-Up Arthouse Film Festival, Berlin Fashion Film Festival, Miami Fashion Film Festival, and Manchester Film Festival.
Her recent short documentary, "The Filial Daughter," which paints an intimate portrait of professional mourners in Taiwan, was an official selection at the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival 2020 and has been showcased on renowned platforms like NOWNESS and i-D.
