Born in Cape Town, Dirk Rees is a London-based Portrait and Landscape Photographer photographer. His unmatched, experimental approach to image-making has defined his creative style in the industry, and generated ongoing creative collaborations with leading international agencies and brands.
Dirk's love for connecting with people and creating authentic narratives has seen him capture the human form at its most compelling moments, both in his commissioned and personal work. Whilst his time living in Africa has fuelled his passion landscapes and exploring subcultures.
Dirk's projects have gained international recognition in numerous awards such as the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, American Photography Awards, Communication Arts Award, the AOP and Hassleblad Masters.
