Pete Banks’ award-winning film ‘The World’s Strongest Brothers’ follows the lives and training of Scottish strongmen, Luke and Tom Stoltman in the build-up to two world record-breaking feats of strength.
Shot in the Scottish Highlands over two days, Pete and DOP Jamie Ackroyd stuck a fine balance between showing the brute strength of some of the strongest people in the world whilst showing the more fragile sides of them, exploring Tom Stoltman’s battle growing up with Autism. Tom Stoltman has recently retained his World’s Strongest Man title for a second year running.
Alongside the film, Pete capture a stills campaign with the brothers, documenting their daily routine and their pursuit of greatness.
The film was awarded GOLD at Kinsale Sharks for Best Documentary Short.
