If you’ve been to a Harry Styles concert in the last couple of years, then you may have seen Lloyd running around on stage as Harry’s tour photographer. Better still, if you follow Harry Styles on Instagram then you will have seen Lloyd’s abundance of globe trotting work, which earned him ‘Tour Photographer of the Year’ at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.
Vogue kindly described his ‘delightfully chaotic and intimate shots of Styles’ as ‘feeling like instant additions to the canon of tour images that live in our collective musical memory: of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, the Rolling Stones.’
Born and raised in Manchester, when directing films Lloyd takes inspiration from his upbringing. Above all he hopes when making any work, be that moving image or still image, that he transports people into that moment of feeling that is being experienced within the frame.
