Informed from a background in moving image, installation and the sonic, London based artist and filmmaker Jon E Price creates instinctive and arresting work, pairing formal cinema techniques with irreverent playful craft.
His commercials blur the lines between cinema, video-art practices and performance. He often works with both actors and non-actors, maintaining high aesthetics with feeling. Jon holds an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London, where he developed his practice of spatial moving image and sound works. He brings the same critical approach to all his work, challenging conventions of form and storytelling, elevating the concept at the crux of each project.
