Informed from a background in moving image, installation and the sonic, London based artist and director Jon E Price creates instinctive and arresting work, pairing formal cinematic techniques with an irreverent playful craft.
His commercials blur the lines between cinema, video-art practices and performance. He often works with both actors and non-actors, maintaining high aesthetics with feeling, always pushing the envelope on form and storytelling.
The Levi’s campaign, Your Voice. Your Way. for which he was also Creative Director, was Levi’s largest multinational campaign in over a decade, spanning 11 territories, across cinema, TV and social. The campaign amassed over 50 million views online, showcasing emerging international talent in London, Paris and Barcelona.
Jon studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London, where he developed his practice of spatial moving image and sound works. Influenced by his upbringing on the industrial coastline of Southampton, he continues to question the notion of place as a means to traverse the co-existence of technology and memory.
