Sarah Chatfield

Sarah Chatfield has always been driven by a love for music, movement and rhythm. She loves to create films that are visually striking - inspiring an emotional reaction with visceral energy.

With early influences ranging from Chris Cunningham and Nick Knight to Tom & Jerry, Sarah began by diving into the world of music videos. She created rich and unique visual worlds for artists including Lykke Li, Little Mix, Kelly Rowland and Lily Allen. The latter won her awards for Best Pop Video and Best New Director.

This flair for visual style naturally parlayed into her creating fashion films, which went on to be screened in museums and galleries worldwide. Her Yves Saint Laurent fashion films were screened to much acclaim at two successive Paris Fashion Weeks.

She now brings her flair for stylish, energised visuals to brands such as Adidas, Nike, Samsung, Baileys and Hippeas, to name a few. Sarah loves to take a familiar story, and show it to the audience in a fresh new way. Whether it’s unexpected framings or out-of-the-box sound design, she loves to create heightened visual, emotional and sensory experiences that resonate.
