Rosie Barrett is an Irish director based in Dublin.
After graduating from IADT in 2015 with a BA in Visual Communications, Rosie began honing her skills as a camera operator and editor, while simultaneously making a transition into producing and directing. She has found a niche in directing music videos and independent film projects. Last year Rosie worked with two-time Olivier Award-winning songwriter Conor O’Brien’s new single “So Simpatico” with his band Villagers. She has also created music videos for James Vincent McMorrow, Gemma Dunleavy, and Jape, which was shortlisted for the Emerging Director Awards 2019.
Her work has a heavy focus on realism and she loves to explore mixed media while creating narratives that feel personal and engaging.
